This page is for people who use the Instaabuild Merchant app or instaabuild.com (InstaaBuild) and want their account and data deleted.
How to request deletion
- Email support@instaabuild.comfrom the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my InstaaBuild account.
- Include your registered email or phone number so we can find the account. We may ask you to confirm it is you.
- We confirm by reply and delete the account within 30 days.
If you have an active paid plan, it ends when the account is deleted and unused time is not refunded.
What is deleted
- Your login, name, email and phone number.
- Your shops, products, landing pages, coupons and settings.
- Orders, customers and abandoned-cart records stored in your account, including delivery addresses and phone numbers.
- Connected courier, SMS, WhatsApp and payment-gateway credentials, and staff members you invited.
- Product images and other files you uploaded.
- Push-notification tokens for your devices.
What is kept, and for how long
- Subscription invoices and payment records, kept for up to 7 years where the law requires us to keep financial records. They are no longer linked to a usable account.
- Security and server logs, which may hold your IP address, are kept for up to 30 days and then removed.
- Backups roll off within 35 days of deletion.
Delete some data without deleting the account
You can remove products, orders, customers and other records yourself in the app. To have specific data removed that you can't delete there, email us at the same address and say what you'd like removed.
Customers of an InstaaBuild store
If you ordered from a store built with InstaaBuild, contact that seller to change or remove your order details. You can also write to us and we'll help the seller respond. See our Privacy Policy.
